HOMESTEAD – A family woke up to a huge mess after they found a U-Haul truck had crashed into their home Wednesday morning.
The incident happened just after 4 a.m. at the home near Southwest 301st Street and 149th Avenue.
The moving truck smashed through the living room, just feet from where children were sleeping.
The driver managed to squeeze out of the door and took off.
No one injuries were reported.
Meanwhile, the family says their home is insured and they hope to fix the hole soon.
So far, police have not made any arrests.
