MIAMI – The unemployment rate in Miami-Dade and Broward counties was up slightly in June compared to the month before.
According to the labor statistics, the Miami-Dade unemployment rate was 9.0 percent in June. That's up from 8.7 percent in May.

The Miami-Dade jobless rate in June 2012 was 10.1 percent.
In Broward County, the unemployment rate was 6.1 percent in June. That is up slightly from 5.8 percent in May.
The Broward jobless rate in June 2012 was 7.8 percent.
The Florida unemployment rate remained at 7.1 percent.
