United Way postpones Coral Gables event headlining Chelsea Clinton

The United Way Women's Leadership Breakfast is to be held in March

CORAL GABLES, Fla. Chelsea Clinton's baby daughter Charlotte turned four months old Sunday.

The new mom made a public appearance at a Clinton Foundation Day of Action event in California Sunday. She was planting trees and talking about how Bill and Hillary Clinton are in love with their grandchild.

As vice chair of the foundation, she was back to her busy agenda -- which includes speaking about the foundation's work to empower women at The United Way Women's Leadership Breakfast in Coral Gables.

The gathering of about 1,000 women  -- to be at The University of Miami's BankUnited Center  -- was set to begin Wednesday. But it was one of the many events in South Florida that have been postponed or cancelled due to a historic blizzard named Juno.

Organizers announced Tuesday that the breakfast with Clinton will be held Monday, March 16. The 34-year-old, who lives in a New York City apartment with her 36-year-old husband Marc Mezvinsky, will headline the gathering of more than 1,000 women.

Adriana Cisneros, vice chairman of Cisnero and the chair of the event, said in a statement that it was going to be "a privilege to welcome" Clinton.

The breakfast is only open to members of the United Way's group.
