VIDEO: Couple unhappy with food order punches woman, daughter

BAXLEY, Ga. – Police are searching for two customers who knocked out a restaurant owner and her daughter after they were unhappy with their food order.

The assault occurred last week outside the Qwik Chik restaurant in Baxley, Ga.

After complaining about his order of chicken, french fries and a roll being cold, the male suspect, identified as Nathaniel Smith, physically confronted owner Jeanette Norris, also claiming he did not receive enough fries.

Norris called police, but before they arrived, Smith's wife, Latasha, slapped and punched her in the face.

When Norris' 15-year-old daughter stepped in, Nathaniel sucker-punched her in the face, knocking her backwards.

The entire incident was captured on a security camera that displays the incorrect time stamp, but WSB reports police confirm it happened last week.

“I have a severely broken nose that requires surgery,” Norris told the Daily News. “My daughter is scared. She was hit on her right side and has a black eye.”

The Smith's left the area and are still on the run as they face charges of aggravated battery and cruelty to children.
