Water main break floods Lauderhill neighborhood

LAUDERHILL, Fla. – A water main break flooded streets in a Lauderhill neighborhood, the city's fire department told Local 10 News Monday morning.

At least one block near NW 52 Avenue and 22 Street was filled with water when Sky 10 flew over the scene before 7 a.m. The neighborhood is just west of Florida's Turnpike.

City workers said the water has since dried up and everyone in the neighborhood has running water.

Crews are filling a hole where the water main break was located.
