PLANT CITY, Fla. – This may be the most frightening knock-knock joke of all-time, except that there was no punchline.
A Florida man called 911 after finding a massive alligator propped up against his front door.

News 13 reports that the man called for help after opening the door to his Plant City mobile home and discovering the gator on the porch.
"I live in a mobile home and I've got an alligator at my door," the man said. "He's about an eight-footer. He's a good sized one, yeah."
In fact, the alligator ended up being much larger than what the homeowner thought.
Officials from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office arrived, and alone with a licensed trapper, found the gator to be 9-feet, 5-inches long.
