According to a Sunrise police report, Brown struck Leonie Pascoe in the head with a frying pan multiple times.

Pascoe told police she was speaking to her child's father when Brown started verbally attacking her and charged at her, hitting her twice in the head with a frying pan that she had been holding behind her back.

Brown claimed she overheard Pascoe making rude comments about her friend, so she went inside and got a frying pan because she was going to confront Pascoe.

According to the report, Brown swung at Pascoe with the frying pan, but she said she never hit her with it. Brown said her friend intervened and separated the women.

Police said the formation of a large hematoma -- like a bruise but more severe -- was visible on the side of Pascoe's forehead. Pascoe was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Brown was being held Monday morning at the main Broward County jail on a bond of $2,500.
