What is the Wheelmobile?

The Wheelmobile is a 36-foot Winnebago that tours nationwide in search of contestants for television’s #1 game show. The Wheelmobile team is coming your way to find contestants in the South Florida area! 

Where and when will the Wheelmobile event take place?
The Wheelmobile event will take place during two special days of contestant searches.

When: Saturday, December 14th from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Festival Flea Market Mall*
           2900 W. Sample Road
           Pompano Beach, FL 33073

*The Wheelmobile event is scheduled to take place outdoors on the East side of Festival Flea Market Mall’s parking lot. The event may be postponed or cancelled due to severe inclement weather. If the event is cancelled, applications for the chance to be randomly-selected to be a part of the final round of auditions in South Florida will be distributed during our event hours.

When: Sunday, December 15th from 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Where: Gulfstream Park**
           901 S. Federal Highway
           Hallandale Beach, FL 33009

**The Wheelmobile event is scheduled to take place inside the Sport of Kings located on the 2nd level of the Clubhouse within Gulfstream Park. Free parking is available on the North and South parking lots. Valet parking is available at a cost. Applications will be distributed in the pre-function space leading to the Sport of Kings.

We will begin handing out applications one hour before each show begins. Shows will begin at 12 p.m., 1:30 p.m., and 3:00 p.m., with each show lasting about an hour. There is no need to arrive hours in advance of the event. Everyone who attends the event will be able to submit an application. We will select participants to come to the stage and audition via a random draw.

Wheel of Fortune held contestant tryouts Saturday at the Festival Flee Market in Pompano Beach. The event was co-hosted by Local 10's MJ Acosta. The tryouts will continue Sunday at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, hosted by Local 10's Calvin Hughes.
