Woman accused of identity theft

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Coral Springs police arrested a 31-year-old woman accused of using another person's name and social security number to open an account at Kohl's.

Police charged Kyesha Reed with grand theft, fraudulent use of personal identification, and fraudulent creation and use of personal identification. She also had an active warrant for fraudulent use of personal identification.

On July 24, police say Reed bought $369 worth of items at the Kohl's at 9001 W. Atlantic Boulevard using the fraudulent credit account. She then tried opening another account at Macy's, but was unable to answer the security questions.

Police say several tipsters identified Reed after seeing the video on local news stations.
