MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A woman's body was pulled from a southwest Miami-Dade County canal Friday morning.
The discovery was made in a canal near Southwest 211th Street and South Dixie Highway shortly before 8 a.m.

Miami-Dade police Detective Robin Pinkard said the body is of a woman believed to be in her 50s.
Pinkard said no other information was immediately available.
