SUNRISE, Fla. – A man painting a wall at a water treatment plant Thursday afternoon was crushed to death when a fence fell on him.
The incident happened after 4 p.m. Thursday at 84th Avenue and Northwest 44th Street in Sunrise.

Police said the man was working alone when somehow the fence collapsed and fell on him.
He was taken to the hospital but died of his injuries.
