Firefighters lower worker from 12th floor of building

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – A worker who injured his back was rescued from a construction site Thursday morning in Fort Lauderdale.

The injured worker was rescued from the 12th floor of a building under construction at 299 N. Federal Highway.

Fort Lauderdale firefighters helped the injured worker into a rescue basket. One brave firefighter clung to the basket while the two men were lowered to the ground.
