George Zimmerman trial: Witness Jenna Lauer

SANFORD, Fla. – Jenna Lauer was a resident at The Retreat at Twin Lakes neighborhood when George Zimmerman killed Trayvon Martin.

On Feb. 26, 2012, she called 911 when she heard noise and cries for help outside of her town home.  During her testimony June 27th, Lauer said she heard two people scuffling or wrestling.

The noise sounded "like sneakers on pavement and grass."

"At one point I felt like they were going to come through the screen," she said.

On the screams, she said "it just sounded like they were desperate."

She could not identify who was screaming, but "whoever it was really needed help."
