Teele Addresses Commission After Arrest

MIAMI -- Although Miami commissioner Art Teele is under fire for allegedly threatening a police officer, colleagues and constituents continue to support him.
Teele was arrested last month for allegedly threatening and assaulting a police officer. He says he is grateful for the support shown by his fellow commissioners."I want to thank all of you for coming out and to tell you that I will continue to uphold the law and I will continue to ask others to uphold the law ... But I will also continue to be a man and a fighter.Thank you very much," Teele said to a round of applause at a commission meeting.
Teele has yet to be arraigned on the charges, but he has indicated that he will plead not guilty.
