Canes quarterback honored for record-setting performance

Canes quarterback Stephen Morris was recognized for his spectacular performance on Saturday.

The ACC named Morris offensive back of the week.

That award goes to either a quarterback, fullback, or running back.

Morris threw for a school and conference record 566 yards against North Carolina State.

He also threw the game-winning touchdown in Miami's 44-37 win.

Other Canes were also recognized.

Gionne Paul was named linebacker of the week and Eddie Johnson was named rookie of the week.
