Anthony Davis Says Buccaneers’ Greg Schiano ‘Didn’t Do [Expletive]‘ to Prepare Him for NFL While at Rutgers
While Rutgers' former basketball coach is under fire for abusing players at the New Jersey University, a former football coach of the Scarlet Knights got blasted by a former player. Anthony Davis, who just signed a five-year, $37.3 million contract extension with the 49ers, said Greg Schiano did nothing to prepare him for the NFL while at Rutgers. Davis even blasted the current Buccaneers' head coach's teaching style. "Schiano didn't do [expletive]", Davis told NFL Draft Bible while on hand at Rutgers' 2013 pro day. "He like, breaks your confidence down. That's his idea of molding guys, by breaking their confidence down. But really, without confidence, you've got a [expletive] team. And I feel like, what he's doing, I thought it was because I was young and I just didn't appreciate what he was doing, but now that I'm a little older, I just realize that his plan is not working. And I think he's going to start finding that out soon enough."
