Miami has the inside track to winning the Atlantic Coast Conference's Coastal Division and earning a berth in the league's championship game.

Miami is still a win shy of bowl eligibility. But with the NCAA investigation still going, Miami finds itself facing a dilemma. The Hurricanes self-imposed a postseason ban last season in anticipation of dealing with some stiff sanctions once the inquiry into the school's compliance practices ends.
Now they'll likely wrestle over the decision whether or not to do so again, even with a return to a Bowl Championship Series game possibly available.
