Dolphins work out Chad Ochocinco

Receiver played for New England Patriots last year

The Miami Dolphins, who have a severely depleted wide receiver corps, is taking a look at one of the NFL's flashiest players.

The Dolphins confirmed on Monday that they worked out Chad Ochocinco.

Ochocinco is a free agent who played last year for the New England Patriots.

Ochocinco is a South Florida resident. He went to Miami Beach High School before heading to Oregon State.

During his 11-year NFL career, Ochocinco has caught 766 passes and scored 68 touchdowns.

He has also become a star off the field. He has appeared on several reality shows including "Dancing with the Stars."
