Johnson named by league's 12 head coaches

MIAMI -

The ACC coaches honored freshman running back Duke Johnson on Wednesday.

The league's 12 coaches voted the UM running back as ACC Offensive and Overall Rookie of the Year.

Johnson finished third in the league with 947 yards rushing and a 78.9 yards-per-game average.

Johnson broke Clinton Portis' 13-year-old school rushing record for freshmen.
