The Marlins have traded former All-Star Gaby Sanchez to Pittsburgh.

Sanchez was a hometown hero who played his college baseball at the University of Miami.

In exchange, the Marlins receive outfield Gorkys Hernandez.

The 24-year old Venezuelan made his major league debut on May 21.

Sanchez bounced up between the big league roster and the minor leagues this season.
