MIAMI -

The Miami Heat trimmed the roster to 15 in time for Tuesday's opener.

The Heat released Garrett Temple.

The guard was a part of the team's practice on Saturday.

But, after practice, the team let him go.

Miami opens the season Tuesday night against Boston.

It's a rematch of last year's Eastern Conference Finals.
