MIAMI -

David Letterman had a confession for LeBron James. The late-night host says he was furious James left Cleveland for Miami.

Now, Letterman has come around.

The newly crowned NBA Finals MVP appeared on CBS' "Late Show with David Letterman" in New York on Tuesday night. The first question Letterman offered: "Now that you've got this out of your system, are you ready to go back to Cleveland and play some ball?"

James laughed it off, and Letterman later said he was "the big winner."

James, Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh are in the midst of a media tour in New York. Bosh appeared on "Live! With Kelly" on Tuesday and Wade sat down for NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon." On Wednesday, all three are scheduled on ABC's "The View."
