The Heat Signed free agents Jarvis Varnado and Mikell Gladness to contacts.

Varnado was a second-round draft choice (41st overall) by the HEAT in the 2010. He spent the past two seasons in Europe.

Gladness played eight games for the Heat last season before being released. He then signed with Golden State and appeared in 18 games. He finished the season with averages of 2.2 points and 2.2 rebounds in 9.7 minutes.
