Hornets' Gordon to have knee surgery

New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon is scheduled to have arthroscopic surgery on his right knee on Tuesday and will be out at least six weeks.

Gordon has played in just two games for the Hornets this season after bruising his knee in the season opener against the Phoenix Suns.

The 23-year-old averaged 22.3 points per game with the Los Angeles Clippers last season.

Gordon was acquired in the trade that sent point guard Chris Paul to the Clippers.
