Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin was quiet about quarterback Ryan Tannehill's leg injury on Monday.

The Dolphins rookie was hit in the first quarter by Calvin Pace and never returned to Sunday's 30-9 win over New York.

Philbin said that he will give a better update on Tannehill's status on Wednesday ahead of Sunday's game at Indianapolis.

The quarterback reportedly wanted to return to Sunday's game. However, Philbin said that was never an option.
