Canes guard considered for big award

MIAMI -

Canes guard Shane Larkin is in the running for a big national award.
Larkin is one of 30 candidates for the 2013 Naismith Men's College Player of the Year Award.

Larkin averages 13.1 points, 4.3 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.1 steals per game.

The Naismith award will be given on April 7 in Atlanta.
