MIAMI -

The New York Knicks, accompanied by breakout star Jeremy Lin, will hit the hardwood Thursday against the Miami Heat at the American Airlines Arena, and the tickets to the game are fetching unbelievable prices.

Lin is an overnight sensation, rocking the headlines and selling tickets at soaring prices.

eBay and Stub Hub have tickets to Thursday's game up for grabs. Two lower-level tickets are on sale for $2,300. The cheapest tickets can cost $150.

"Ticket prices on the secondary market are skyrocketing," Michael McCullough, Executive Vice President of the Miami Heat said. "We've never seen anything like it with this kind of a one-off game."

Because the demand for tickets to Thursday's game is at a high, buyers are being urged to beware of purchasing fake tickets. The Miami Heat have made it easy for buyers with the Ticket Exchange program.

"It's an opportunity for current Heat season ticketholders to resell their tickets that they already have," McCullough said. "So, they will go in and they will post their tickets at the price that they want people to buy them for."

Anyone can buy a ticket, and buyers are guaranteed a seat.

"We will guarantee that you'll get in," McCullough said. "We can't make that guarantee if you buy that ticket from some other place on the secondary market because Heat Ticket Exchange is our own proprietary system that we have with Ticketmaster."

Tickets for Tuesday night's game in the upper-level Section 326, Row 7, cost $49 each; on Thursday, the tickets cost $350.

Courtside tickets for Thursday's game can cost as much as $30,000.
