Mag: LeBron is 4th highest paid athlete
Boxer Floyd Mayweather tops richest list
Heat superstar LeBron James is one of the richest athletes in sport, according to Forbes magazine.
Forbes put out its annual list of the World's 100 highest-paid athletes on Monday.
Boxer Floyd Mayweather topped Forbes' list, earning $85 million in 2011 for two fights.
Another boxer Manny Pacquiao was second on the paid list, earning $62 million.
Both fighters topped golf superstar Tiger Woods who ranks third this year with earnings of $59.4 million.
Then comes LeBron who was the highest paid basketball player. Forbes said James earned $53 million in 2011. That's an impressive haul since he lost many paychecks due to the NBA lockout. LeBron made $13 million in salary and $40 million in endorsements.
Dwyane Wade ranks 35th on the list. Forbes pegs Wade at $24.7 million in earnings, split down the middle between salary and endorsements.
