The Miami Marlins have signed free agent outfielder Juan Pierre to a one year deal according to multiple reports.

The 35 year old played for the Marlins from 2003-2005.

Pierre played for the Phillies last season hitting .307 with 37 stolen bases.

He will likely fill the void in center field and could hit lead off.
