He was introduced during a news conference Wednesday and talked about playing with second-year quarterback Ryan Tannehill.

"It's going to be different playing with a guy who's actually younger than me," said Wallace. "Ben [Roethlisberger] always treated me like his little brother so actually being a big brother is going to be a little different, but I'm excited, I'm excited about the changes, so I know he's happy for me."

Wallace said he and Tannehill had dinner together Tuesday night. The two apparently didn't discuss who would wear number 17, which both wore last season.

Wallace has caught 235 receptions for 4,042 yards and 32 touchdowns since he was drafted in 2009. He was also named to the 2011 Pro Bowl.

The Dolphins also announced the team resigned safety Chris Clemons and signed linebackers Dannell Ellerbe and Philip Wheeler.

The Dolphins also released linebackers Karlos Dansby and Kevin Burnett.
