Ray majored in Communications at the University of Connecticut. Allen starred with Denzel Washington in 2001’s “He Got Game” playing a character named Jesus Shuttlesworth. His foundation is named the Ray of Hope. It was established in 1997.

Andersen showed off his colorful tattoos in PETA’s “Ink Not Mink” ad campaign to protest the fur industry. Anderson placed 3rd and 4th in the NBA’s slam dunk contest in 2004 and 2005.  Nickname is the Birdman.

A two-time NBA All-Defensive Second Team selection and a five-time Division Sportsmanship Award winner and was a First Team All-Rookie selection and a one-time Rookie of the Month honoree. Battier has scored in double figures 22 times in postseason play, including a pair of 20-point games

Established the “Battier Take Charge” foundation to raise money for education. Was named the 7th smartest professional News in Sept. 2010.  In 1990 named Punt, Pass, and Kick Champion in Michigan.
