Heat forward Mike Miller is raring to finally get back on the court when the Heat host the San Antonio Spurs tonight at 7:30pm. Miller missed the first 12 games of the season while recovering from sports hernia surgery.
He was the first player on the court this afternoon over 3 hours before tip-off. Miller says he's been coming out early to shoot baskets and waiting for the soreness around his abdomen to improve.
His return is perfect timing for a Heat team that will be without Dwyane Wade indefinitely. Miller's minutes will likely be limited at first, but the veteran should provide a 3-point and defensive weapon for Miami off the bench.
