Next stop for Manny Ramirez: Taiwan.

One of the baseball's most feared sluggers, the 40-year-old right-handed hitter had been trying to latch on with a team during spring training, but had no luck.

Ramirez will arrive in Taiwan on Monday with a .312 career batting average and 555 home runs to his credit. CBSSports.com reports that Ramirez has agreed to sign with the EDA Rhinos in Taiwan.

This trip will not be Ramirez's first foray into Taiwan. He played exhibition games there while he was a member of the Dodgers in 2010.

Ramirez batted .302 playing for Sacramento, Oakland's Triple-A, club last year but was released. For the first time in 18 years, he played winter ball in the Dominican Republic hoping to improve his chances of one last stop in the majors. In 181 at-bats with Aguilas-Cibaenas, he hit .292 with eight home runs and 27 RBIs.

Ramirez last was seen in the majors with Tampa Bay in 2011 when he went 1-for-17 before being suspended for using performance enhancing drugs.
