Miami could start season on road Labor Day weekend

The Miami Hurricanes finished the 2011 season with a disappointing loss to Boston College. UM may get an immediate chance to exact some revenge.
According to the Boston Globe, the Canes and Eagles are expected to open the 2012 season on Labor Day weekend.
The ACC has not confirmed the report, but it would be another tough way for the Hurricanes to open a season. Last year, Miami also opened on the road. A short-handed UM team lost a close game at Maryland. They went on to have a tough season which ended with a blowout loss to BC at home.
