Report: Randy Shannon to be Arkansas assistant

Former Canes coach will work with linebackers

MIAMI -

Randy Shannon is heading to the SEC.

According to the associated press, Shannon will be the new linebackers coach at Arkansas.

Shannon held the same position at TCU last year.

He played his college football at Miami.

Shannon also served as an assistant with the Miami Dolphins.

Randy Shannon was the Miami Hurricanes head coach from 2007-2010.
