Soccer deal contingent on stadium deal

MIAMI – Dolphins owner Stephen Ross is reportedly considering bringing a soccer team to Sun Life Stadium.

Sports Illustrated is reporting that the Dolphins owner met with MLS commissioner Don Garber last Friday.

Ross reportedly said MLS expansion would be contingent on a $400 million upgrade to Sun Life Stadium.

Ross is hoping the public will help fund that.

According to the Sports Illustrated report, Ross also said he's intrigued by Orlando's interest in an Major League Soccer team.
