Senators Goalie Craig Anderson Leaves Game With Injury, Helped Off The Ice

When it rains, it pours. Already decimated by injury to a number of its stars, Ottawa Senators goalie Craig Anderson, arguably the best goalie in the NHL this season, was carried off the ice after an early third period collision with New York rookie Chris Kreider. Kreider’s feet were taken out from under him by Marc Methot, then slid into the lower body of Craig Anderson. Andersn went down immediately, and was down for some time, and was unable to put an pressure on his right leg as he left the ice surface.
