Multiple sources say FIU will leave the Sun Belt Conference and join Conference USA fully in 2013.

This would be the school's third conference.  FIU was first in the Trans-America Athletic Conference from 1991-1998, before joining the Sun Belt Conference.

FIU officials would not confirm the move.  Conference USA is shuffling its schools after losing several of its colleges to the Big East.
