When it comes to stadium names, there's just nothing like the "real" thing.
With more name changes than Dolphins playoff wins over the last two decades, a Miami shoe store has begun to sell "I Still Call it Joe Robbie" t-shirts to express the opinion that the current Sun Life Stadium's first name was its best.
From 1987 until 1996, the home of the Miami Dolphins was named after popular founding owner Joe Robbie.
It wasn't until Wayne Huizenga took control of the franchise that the constant name changing began.
Throughout the years the stadium has been called Pro Player Park, Pro Player Stadium, Dolphins Stadium, and Land Shark Stadium before it began it's current run as Sun Life Stadium in 2010.
According to wordintown.com, Shoe Gallery in Miami has begun to sell the new t-shirt which will now allow longtime Dolphins fans to hold a silent, yet visual, protest to begin calling the stadium its original name.
