Kendrick Perkins says Heat star wants attention

You can count Kendrick Perkins as someone who doesn't like to follow LeBron James on Twitter.
The Oklahoma City Thunder center was bothered by a tweet LeBron sent last week after Perkins was dunked on by Clippers star Blake Griffin.
The monster dunk became the talk of Twitter and the NBA world, but Perkins seemed to especially take offense to James tweet calling it the "dunk of the year." LeBron also tweeted that it knocked one of his big dunks out of the top spot.
“You don’t see Michael Jordan tweeting.'' Perkins said. "If you’re an elite player, plays like that don’t excite you. At the end of the day, the guys who are playing for the right reasons who are trying to win championships are not worrying about one play. I just feel James is always looking for attention and he wants the world to like him.”
James responded after Miami's loss in Orlando on Wednesday night that he was surprised Perkins had such a reaction a week after the tweet. He added that he tweets for his fans and means no harm.
Perkins is not the first Thunder player to criticize a Heat player. Star player Kevin Durant called Chris Bosh a "fake tough guy" last season.
