UM hosts UCF, Missouri State, Stony Brook in regionals
Regional starts Friday
The Miami Hurricanes will be hosting the 24th NCAA Tournament Regional in program history beginning this Friday, and will be joined by second-seeded UCF, third-seeded Missouri State and fourth-seeded Stony Brook.
Miami found out its postseason fate a day early, as the team was selected as one of 16 regional hosts for the first round of the postseason. The Hurricanes, who finished the season with a 36-21 record and an appearance in the Atlantic Coast Conference Championship, were one of five teams from the conference selected to host.
The Hurricanes will open play in the double-elimination bracket Friday night against Stony Brook.
