MIAMI – One day after suspending the officials for the final play of the Miami-Duke game, the Atlantic Coast Conference honored the Hurricanes player who scored.

The ACC named Corn Elder the ACC specialst of the week for his game-winning touchdown.

It's the same game-winning touchdown that cost the entire ACC officiating crew two games for a suspension.

Miami knocked off then-No. 22 Duke, handing the Blue Devils their first ACC loss of the season.

Elder's touchdown is the second special teams touchdown he has scored this season. He is the only college football player this season who has recorded an interception, a punt return for a touchdown and a kickoff return for a touchdown.
