MIAMI - The Miami Marlins are continuing their role of media darlings as they now grace this week's cover of Sports Illustrated.
The headline reads "Marlinsanity," a combo of Marlins and Linsanity, the other current sports craze surrounding New York Knicks star Jeremy Lin.
Two of the Marlins' new boys, manager Ozzie Guillen and shortstop Jose Reyes, made the prestigious cover.
Guillen and Reyes are just two of the new faces for the new look of the Marlins. The team has also added closer Heath Bell and starting pitchers Mark Buehrle and Carlos Zambrano.
The team also changed its name from Florida Marlins to Miami Marlins as they move into their sparkling new ballpark.
This is the fifth time that the Marlins have made the cover of SI. The last time was in 2007.
Besides the SI cover, the Marlins are also reality television stars. The team is being featured on "The Franchise," which will air on the Showtime cable network.
