Star said: "We suck"

MIAMI – Chris Bosh is laying down a challenge for his Heat teammates.  Now the question is:  how will they respond?

The Heat lost at the lowly Pelicans on Saturday night.

The back-to-back champs have gone just 4-7 in their last 11 games.

Bosh said, "It's unacceptable.  We're going to have to draw the line in the sand somewhere.  We don't talk about it, we're not expressing ourselves in the locker room or on the court.  I figure I'd be the first to say we suck.  We need to turn it around.  If we don't play better, we'll be watching the championship at home."

Bosh said this year's Heat team lacks fire.

He said, "It's just nothing.  We just show up, do whatever.  Loss, nobody's upset.  Win, nobody's happy.  There's no passion.  There's nothing..  So I just want there to be something.  If you're mad, be mad.  I think it should show.  If you're frustrated, be frustrated and give reasons for that."

Bosh offered a solution, "We just need some dialogue going right here because it's unhealthy to keep things in , and we've been keeping things in for a whole season now.  We're running out of time, we just need to let it out and have some urgency."

Miami plays Portland on Monday.
