Camper asks Dwayne Wade why he flops

Heat star faced sensitive question during summer camp

CHICAGO ā€“ Dwyane Wade is a legend in South Florida for all he's done on the basketball court.

But take the All-Star back to his hometown of Chicago, and the heat increases on the Heat icon.

During a media appearance this week with former Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall, Wade mentioned that a young man attending his recent summer camp grilled him about his propensity to flop during NBA games.

"One kid asked me why did I flop," said Wade. "And I was about to get him kicked out of camp."

Wade jokingly added that he didn't toss the camper because he was worried that his parents were in the crowd.

Opposing fans consider Wade to be one of the preeminent floppers in the game. The Heat star was fined $5,000 for flopping after over-acting following a foul in Game 2 of the 2014 NBA Finals.
