Clay's plays: Breakdown of Dolphins-Bills

MIAMI3. Mike Wallace TD reception

Can't be all negative here. For as much heat as Wallace has taken for his drops in the past, he has come up with two impressive TD catches at key times early this season. This one-handed highlight reel grab could've propelled the Fins to a nice comeback if not for what happened next.

2b and 2a. CJ Spiller's 47-yard run and 102-yard kickoff return

That brings us to the two biggest momentum shifters in this ballgame. Following Wallace's grab, Spiller brought the crowd back into the game with a huge run into Dolphins territory. That would lead to Sammy Watkins' first TD of the year, but it wasn't even Spiller's biggest play.

After the Dolphins drove down to cut the Buffalo lead to 9-3, Spiller struck with a 102-yard kickoff return that immediately sucked the life out of the Miami sideline. Football is a game of momentum shifts and there were none bigger today than Spiller's big plays to steal away any good feeling the Fins were building.

1. 1st quarter: Moreno injures elbow on run.

Hate to put an injury here but it really is the most impactful moment of this game if you're a Dolphins fan. Moreno's numbers have been impressive early this season, but his attitude has been even more important. His intensity is infectious for an offense that thrives on it. His injury was a big blow in this game and will be for as long as he's out.
