TAMPA, Fla. – Florida State is ranked No. 9 in the new Associated Press college basketball poll released Monday.

The Seminoles (15-1, 3-0 Atlantic Coast Conference) cracked the top 10 for the first time since 2012. That was also the last year that Florida State earned a berth in the NCAA tournament.

Florida State has won 11 straight games and is 3-0 in the ACC for the first time in school history.

The Seminoles, who notched a 93-78 win against then-No. 21 Virginia Tech last weekend, host No. 7 Duke (14-2, 2-1 ACC) on Tuesday night. A victory would likely make Florida State the ACC's highest-ranked team and propel the Seminoles even closer to No. 1.

FSU has already beaten three teams currently in the top 25 -- No. 19 Virginia, No. 23 Florida and No. 24 Minnesota.
