MIAMI - Three University of Miami freshmen have picked up national honors.
Running back Duke Johnson and safety Deon Bush were both named second-team Freshman All-America by collegefootballnews.com.
Johnson and linebacker Eddie Johnson were named to the cbssports.com All-Freshman team.
Johnson complied more than 2,000 all-purpose yards and 13 touchdowns.
Bush had 34 tackles and started six games at safety.
Johnson had 59 tackles and a team-leading 7.5-tackles-for-loss in 10 games.
