Hurricanes, Texas A&M to play home-and-home series in 2022, 2023

Miami travels to Texas A&M on Sept. 17, 2022; Aggies return trip next September

The Miami Hurricanes will travel to Texas A&M in 2022 and host the Aggies in 2023.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – The University of Miami announced a home-and-home series Tuesday with Texas A&M University for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.

Miami will travel to College Station, Texas, to face the Aggies on Sept. 17, 2022. Texas A&M will visit the Hurricanes on Sept. 9, 2023.

"These games will provide a tremendous opportunity for our student-athletes, coaches and fans to compete at home against a top program and to experience a fantastic game day environment in College Station," deputy director of athletics Jennifer Strawley said in a statement. "I am thrilled that we were able to finalize a series against an outstanding program like Texas A&M."

The Hurricanes won the last two meetings against Texas A&M -- 34-17 in 2007 and 41-23 in 2008.

Texas A&M beat Miami in the first meeting in 1944.

Future nonconference opponents include games against Notre Dame in 2017, LSU in 2018, Florida in 2019 and Michigan State in 2020 and 2021.
