A group calling themselves "Come Home, LeBron" is once again applying the pressure to get the Akron native to leave Miami and return to the team he spurned after the 2009-10 season.

'Come Home, LeBron' purchased 3 highway billboards and smaller shopping center ads last fall to up the ante and many Cavs fans remain devoted to what could be a Quixotic quest. The billboards were removed last month, but the mall ads remain.

Following the Heat's quick dismissal from the 2014 NBA Finals by the San Antonio Spurs, LeBron's focus has now turned to his future with the organization. Along with teammates Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh, James is able to opt out of his current contract and become an unrestricted free agent.

While many expect LeBron to remain with the Heat, the 4-time NBA Most Valuable Player has many options to consider, especially when deciding whether Miami can continue to battle for championships with an aging roster that was exposed by the Spurs.

James was drafted number one overall by the Cavaliers in 2003 and led Cleveland to the NBA Finals in 2007 before leaving for the Heat three years later.
